Spreading Cheer and Giving Back

We hope this message finds you in good spirits and ready to embrace the holiday season! December has been an incredible month for all Brubaker’s Pub locations, with two heartwarming events that truly embody the spirit of giving and community engagement. We wanted to share the details with you and express our gratitude for your ongoing support.

Holly Jolly Pubs: Bringing Joy to Akron Children’s Hospital

Our Holly Jolly Pubs event has been a magical journey of spreading joy to those who need it most. Each Brubaker’s Pub location adorned its Christmas tree with special tags featuring the names and ages of children at Akron Children’s Hospital, along with a toy from their Christmas wish list. Customers and staff alike had the opportunity to select a tag, purchase the desired gift, and contribute to making a child’s holiday brighter.

QR codes allowed direct donations and gift cards were also donated by patrons.. The response was more than heartwarming and we’re grateful for the generosity.  Four cars filled with toys arrived at the hospital on the 15th of this month. Hospital staff were thrilled with the gifts and noted that the teens in the hospital, in particular, will love the gift cards.

Project Elf: Spreading Love, One Shot at a Time

At Brubaker’s Pubs, we believe in giving back in creative ways. Our Project Elf initiative involved a simple yet impactful gesture—selling our Shot of the Month. For every shot sold, we pledged to donate $1.00 to Project Elf, a cause dedicated to helping families in need during the holiday season. The Dane Foundation is the recipient and so far this month, the Pubs have donated $300.

But we didn’t stop there! We encouraged our staff and patrons to simply drop off daily necessities like toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant to further support Project Elf’s mission. Thanks to your incredible efforts, we’re set to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many families this holiday season. And we didn’t stop there….
